Full-Time | Individual Contributor The Opportunity We’re seeking a highly driven and strategic Power Systems Program Manager to play a pivotal role in supporting executive leadership and driving key initiatives across multiple business functions-sales, services, strategic planning, and product development. This role combines deep technical expertise in electrical power systems with strong business acumen, working directly with executive leadership in a capacity similar to a “Chief of Staff.” This is a high-impact, full-time, on-site role for a dynamic leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment with significant visibility and influence. Key Responsibilities Shape and Execute Strategy Partner directly with the Vice President of Power Systems to craft and execute strategic initiatives that align with both divisional and corporate growth objectives. Lead the development of actionable business plans that drive organizational success. Lead High-Profile Projects Take ownership of specialized cross-functional projects from initiation through execution, ensuring delivery on scope, schedule, and impact. Drive Product & Service Excellence Support product development lifecycles and market launches across key technologies including: HVDC, FACTS, Gas-Insulated Substations, Switchgear, Nuclear Systems, Synchronous Condensers. Collaborate with service teams to strengthen customer experience and grow service offerings. Champion Quality, Safety, and Compliance Foster a culture that prioritizes safety, quality, and environmental stewardship across all business activities. Represent the Organisation on the Industry Stage Engage with prominent industry associations (e.g.
IEEE, NEMA, CIGRE
), contributing to standards development and reinforcing market leadership. Identify Market Trends & Emerging Opportunities Partner with marketing and corporate development teams to analyse market trends, monitor government policy shifts, and identify growth opportunities. Support Executive Planning & Performance Management Contribute to annual business planning cycles; review reports, financials, and KPIs to track performance and identify areas for improvement. Support Process & Operational Excellence Drive process improvement initiatives, support policy development, and reinforce organisational execution standards. Be a Trusted Advisor to Leadership Act as a key point of coordination and communication across internal and external stakeholders, representing the company’s values and professional image. Key Qualifications Education Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field (advanced degrees a plus). Experience 10+ years of experience in the electric power systems sector. Strong background in power transmission and distribution technologies, including HVDC, FACTS, substations, and related systems. Experience supporting executive leadership in a Chief of Staff or Program Manager capacity is strongly preferred. Skills & Competencies Deep technical understanding of electrical power systems. Proven strategic thinker with strong business acumen. Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. Demonstrated leadership and cross-functional project management experience. Proficient in MS Office Suite and business software systems. Collaborative and culturally aware, with strong stakeholder management skills. Additional Details This position requires full-time, in-office presence (remote or hybrid not available). Candidates must be local or willing to relocate at their own expense.
