SUMMARY Supervises andcoordinates activities of workers engaged in cleaning andmaintaining premises of commercial, industrial, and medicalestablishments by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIESAND RESPONSIBILITIES

include the following. Other duties may beassigned. Assign tasks to workers, and inspects completed work forconformance to standards. Issues supplies and equipment. Resolvesworkers’ problems or refers matters to Manager. Requisitionscleaning supplies and equipment. Performs duties of workerssupervised.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Can directly supervises 2employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordancewith the organization’s policies and applicable laws.

Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and trainingemployees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraisingperformance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressingcomplaints and resolving problems.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Businesslevel English proficiency verbal and written communication Two tothree years of experience required in a related field, withjanitorial industry experience preferred Ability to multitask andadapt to changing environments. A customer service & satisfactionmindset

KNOWLEDGE

SKILLS and

ABILITIES

Special skill knowledge andpertinent techniques to work assignment involve: Ability tomotivate, train and assist in development of team members. Carpetcare and cleaning; stripping/cleaning/buffing of floor types; floorcare chemicals; operation of floor care equipment preferred.

Thoroughness, dependability, tact and courtesy; ability to work ina team environment and use good judgment. Ability to effectivelyuse technology, including the internet, Email, Word and ExcelEffective communicator with customers, both internal and external.

Organized, proven problem solving abilities, and ability tomultitask, prioritize job responsibilities Ability to work afull-time schedule which may include nights, weekends or holidays.

Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) a plus (depending on account).

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

: This job may require lifting of objects up to50lbs., with frequent lifting and or carrying of objects weighingup to 25 lbs. Other physical demands that are required are,reaching, climbing, stooping and or kneeling, lifting, carrying,pushing and pulling, writing and seeing.

LICENSURE

: Must possess avalid state driver’s license in order to fulfill the duties of thisposition, as significant travel between accounts is required.

EDUCATION and/or

EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or generaleducation degree (GED); or one to three months related experienceand/or training; or equivalent combination of education andexperience.
