General Responsibilities Responsible for directing and administering counseling and/or aging and or peer support services.
Provide emotional support to individuals.
Provides and oversees home visits to accommodate homebound individuals to offer emotional support around health problems, grief, depression, anxiety and feeling of isolation. Provides clinical and administrative supervision to volunteers and student interns.
Manages the initial intake process and initial evaluation.
Recruits, orients, trains, and supports student interns and volunteers om the work with consumers in the context of individualized circumstances and environments to provide safety, education, advocacy, and coordination with other professionals.
Participates in the completion of comprehensive assessments.

Education/Training:

A master’s degree in psychology, Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field required.

Experience:

A minimum of one (1) year related experience normally required; supervisory experience preferred.

ADA:

Ability to bend, stoop, sit, stand, reach and lift items weighing up to 25 lbs.; computer skills; valid driver’s license, visual and auditory skills.
