We’reseeking a Strategic Business Development Director to establish andgrow partnerships with hyperscalers (AWS, Azure) and major SaaSvendors (Salesforce, Snowflake, Databricks, ServiceNow, etc.). Thisrole is highly strategic, focused on increasing brand presence,influencing revenue, and fostering long-term partnerships ratherthan direct revenue generation. Youll work closely with PE/VCfirms, ISVs, and enterprise partners to develop meaningfulrelationships that enhance our market positioning. The roleinvolves crafting strategic initiatives, hosting webinars, anddriving co-marketing efforts to expand our ecosystem. What wouldyou do, if hired?
- Develop and nurture strategic partnerships withhyperscalers (AWS, Azure, GCP) and leading SaaS vendors.
- Buildrelationships with PE/VC firms to drive direct referrals andinfluence deals.
- Identify and manage a long tail of ISV partnersto maximize business impact.
- Establish and execute co-marketinginitiatives (e.g., joint webinars, thought leadership).
- Defineand track key success metrics such as revenue influence, dealreferrals, and strategic objectives.
- Act as a thought leader,identifying new partnership opportunities that align with ourbusiness goals.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensuresuccessful execution of strategic initiatives. Who are we lookingfor?
- Strategic thinker who understands the SaaS ecosystem and canconnect the dots between technology partnerships and businessoutcomes.
- Strong relationship-building skills with executiveleaders at hyperscalers, SaaS vendors, and PE/VC firms.
- Background in business development, partnerships, orinvestment/analyst roles at an investment firm, SaaS company, orconsulting firm.
- Ability to navigate complex partnership dynamicsand drive long-term value without relying solely on direct revenuegeneration.
- Experience in structuring high-impact alliances andgo-to-market partnerships.
- Comfort with ambiguity—able to definethe function from the ground up and evolve it over time.
Celigoreasonably expects to pay a base salary between $230,000 and$260,000 per year for this position. Actual starting base pay willbe determined by skills, experience, geographic location, and othernon-discriminatory factors permitted by law.
