Dealer Development Manager 2.7 2.7 out of 5 stars Summerville, SC 29483 Position Purpose The Dealer Development Manager assumes the responsibility for servicing and growing REV’s expansive network of franchise and non-franchise dealer relationships. The Dealer Development Manager will play an integral role in developing and executing the organization’s indirect lending growth strategy, leveraging existing relationships as well as cultivating new indirect dealer relationships within target markets. Duties & Responsibilities Assumes responsibility for the developing and executing performance optimization and growth strategies within targeted indirect lending markets: Track and analyze sales leads and dealer interactions to enhance business relationships and grow loan production. Establish ongoing communication with dealers to create visibility before, during and after every dealer visit. Utilize consultative assessment skills, training tools and active coaching to optimize dealer performance and profitability. Cultivate quality solutions to address dealer and credit union needs, in a manner ultimately leading to trusted advisor status. Recommend new products, programs, technology, or procedural enhancements to consistently meet dealership needs and achieve organization goals. Conduct and maintain documentation of new dealer due diligence as well as annual financial and performance reviews. Maintain up to date industry knowledge surrounding trends and company initiatives. Assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining effective communication and coordination with credit union personnel, management, and external contacts. Ensures the credit union’s positive reputation is maintain in all business contacts. Fosters strong working partnership with business unites across the credit union to ensure strategic alignment with objectives, participate in planning and execution of various initiatives to drive the business unit forward and maintain the appropriate level of member and employee experiences. Assumes responsibility for complying with applicable regulations: Ensures individual and departmental compliance in all applicable laws and regulations that the credit union is subject to. Assumes responsibilities for related duties as required or assigned.

Skills & Qualifications Education/Certification & EXPERIENCE:

Three (3) to five (5) years of auto finance and/or relationship management experience in a financial institution or dealership. Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, accounting, or finance preferred. High school diploma required.

Skills/Abilities:

Proven ability to create, comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex data. Proven ability to write reports, assessments, procedures, and policies. Proven strong analytical and quantitative skills, the ability to conduct financial and business analyses. Proven ability to solve advance problems and deal with a variety of options in complex situations. Proven strong Microsoft Office Suite product skills. Proven ability to collaborate with a variety of leaders. Proven ability to negotiate effectively with key employees, senior management, and vendors. Proven understanding of lending products, policies, procedures, standards, government regulations and legal requirements.
