Job Description Summary The Wind Senior Market Intelligence Leader will deliver comprehensive global industry analysis, insights, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership, as well as to the global Commercial, Sourcing, and Product Line teams. Job Description Essential Responsibilities Lead the financial analysis of key competitors, delivering comprehensive quarterly internal reports to assess their financial performance and formulate strategic takeaways. Maintain a robust competitor supply chain database focused on critical components (e.g., blades), identifying and analyzing strategic differences across the industry. Evaluate competitor cost differences and drive actionable insights for commercial, supply chain, and product opportunities. Collaborate with internal teams (Commercial, Regional Marketing, Product Line) and leverage external sources (industry analysts, press reports, trade publications) to gain a holistic view of the competitive landscape within the wind industry and enhance GE’s competitiveness. Develop and analyze strategic competitive scenarios, integrating engineering, pricing, product, and customer insights to optimize product positioning and drive differentiated outcomes. Qualifications/Requirements Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or engineering from an accredited university or college Minimum 4 years of product development, finance, marketing, competitive intelligence, or similar experience Desired Qualifications Experience and knowledge of renewable energy products and industry landscape Understanding of wind OEM’s product portfolios, business models, business drivers, and value chain Ability to synthesize technical and commercial information and translate it into actionable business analysis Exhibit essential behaviors – cooperation, process and continuous improvement, customer focus, active listener Experience working in complex and matrixed organizations. Strong global mindset and acumen Ability to perform effectively in a dynamic work environment while managing multiple deliverables Proven influencing skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage stakeholders at all levels of the organization Strong verbal and written communication skills at all levels within the company Demonstrated finance and analytical skill set – able to work with complex data sets MBA The salary range for this position is $111,800.00 – $186,300.00 USD Annual. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this role has variable compensation incentive of 15% .
