Advertised Job Summary:
- The Office of Career Management invites applications for a full-time Employer Relations Director.
This position will represent the Darla Moore School of Business to new and established partners to provide placement/internship opportunities for all Darla Moore School of Business students. Will also oversee all employer activity for all designated industry clients on campus and ensure that employers are treated in an appropriate/relevant manner. This position is responsible for developing a pipeline of full-time employment and internship opportunities for both graduate/undergraduate students and supervision of the Corporate Outreach Team.

Job Related Minimum Required Education and Experience:
- Requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field and 5 or more years of related experience, which may be substituted by an equivalent combination of related certification, training, education, and/or experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in business, international business, human resources, international studies, or education preferred.
7-10 years of direct experience working in a recruitment, placement, or human resources function is highly preferred. Working knowledge of business marketplace for undergraduate and graduate students is critical. 5-7 years of supervisory experience is highly preferred. At least five years of project management experience is highly preferred. Experience in career service management in a business school, corporate career development, higher education administration, corporate recruiting, marketing and / or sales is desirable. Bilingualism or multilingualism desirable.

- Excellent written and oral communication skills, presentation skills, creativity, and the ability to work as a member of a diverse team.
Professional demeanor, tact, discretion, and good judgment in working with students, faculty, and administrative units. Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead projects from inception to implementation. Ability to manage people and resources effectively. Knowledge of the marketplace. Knowledge of US employment law. Knowledge of economies, business practices, and recruitment trends in at least one major market outside the US. Ability to work independently and self-motivate. Ability to exercise discretion and understand the operations of competitive academic programs. Ability to maintain focus in a fast-paced environment. Ability to collaborate with other units within the school as they relate to career education and placement of students. Ability to collaborate with Employer Relations team members. Willingness to solve problems and make decisions as appropriate. Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Job Duty:
- Develop and implement long term strategy and execute focus on external outreach of the Moore School by establishing (via constant travel, phone and email) and maintaining and/or expanding current relationships with firms in assigned industry areas to meet the business needs of all corporate partners.
Outreach should support placement of all MSB students and should produce a pipeline of opportunity postings for the broader undergraduate population, and specialized masters program.
