Job Overview:
The Assistant Vice President – M&A Wealth Management position is focused on leading a team of business leads and subject matter experts for large M&A transitions across our Wealth Management ecosystem. This role involves close collaboration with our partners within Wealth Management, including, but not limited to, Advisory Platforms, Investment Products, Research, and Strategic Partners. This role will embrace strategic, entrepreneurial, and analytical skillsets to support our growth and positioning across the entire wealth management market as LPL continues to expand. We are seeking an energetic candidate with a financial services background who can think independently, thrive in a fast-paced team environment, and creatively problem-solve by connecting various thoughts, observations, and results to develop innovative solutions. This role requires strong strategic and execution skills. A successful candidate will demonstrate strategic and creative thinking skills, strong relationship management skills, and be capable of communicating strategy and direction to executive leadership.
Responsibilities:
Lead, drive forward, and deliver integration activities to support strategic partnerships with large M&A opportunities across the Wealth Management Organization. Manage the interdependencies across Wealth Management to ensure activities are prioritized and sequenced appropriately across internal and external stakeholders. Work closely with our Business Development, Corporate Development, and Integration Management Office on recruiting opportunities and recently recruited firms on ways to leverage the platform as their assets move to LPL. Understanding of, and have the ability to explain, all business aspects of our products/platforms while working with numerous business units across the firm. Quickly identify, develop mitigation, and implement remediation for emerging problems. Thrive in a fast-paced team atmosphere with the confidence to adjust and adapt as priorities change. Capture feedback from advisors, stakeholders and key partners, translating this feedback into insights and recommendations on improving the platform. Create dashboards, reporting and communications material to track progress, risks/issues, status, and business decisions. Gain and develop a deep understanding of how all our investment offerings and advisory platforms serve each model and should be able to clearly articulate how each platform can address the unique business needs of each client. The Investment Management Solutions team within LPL’s Wealth Management group is responsible for delivering a highly competitive set of investment solutions across the brokerage and advisory platforms. Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree required; preferably in a financial-related discipline 7+ years of experience in the financial services industry Knowledge on the investment advisory product and investment product landscape.

Platform management or operational experience associated with evaluating dynamic decisions and contributing towards recommendations that enhance the product offering. Excellent multi-tasking, problem solving, organizational, and prioritization skills Highly organized with the ability to handle multiple projects and deliver quality outcomes. Entrepreneurial perspective, self-starter, ability to work with minimal supervision Exceptional problem solving and critical thinking skills
Pay Range:
$117,975-$196,625/year Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
