JOB SUMMARY
This position is responsible for acquiring donated, sellable products through building, maintaining and nurturing relationships with corporate ReStore donors throughout Habitat’s 5-county service area: Davidson, Dickson, Cheatham, Wilson and Robertson counties as a critical element of ReStore inventory acquisition. Schedules and fulfills pick-ups of corporate donations and their delivery to the respective ReStore. Coordinates corporate donations with respective ReStore. Adheres to safe driving practices and safe lifting practices in loading and unloading donations. The person in this position requires excellent communication skills and a positive attitude. This is an in-person , hands on position.
KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS
Corporate Donations Proactively maintain and further develop existing business relationships and outreach, including in-person visits, requesting referrals and continually seeking new avenues to enrich these relationships Generate business donations inventory of $400,000 to support all ReStores’ annual sales goal Research, identify and act on new business donor opportunities Collaborate with respective ReStore managers on incoming business donations to ensure scheduling and pickup of donations are being distributed among the respective stores and meet the sales needs. Collaborate with Senior Director of ReStores to identify new business donations based upon sales data Maintain donor records, keeping interactions updated with new development and activity within Salesforce Track and submit monthly donor metrics reports that illustrate progress Attend networking and outreach events to create donor opportunities including but not limited to trade shows and speaking engagements Provides guidance to volunteers and team members at offsite locations as needed and as directed by Senior Director of ReStores
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB
Develop and work corporate leads to generate inventory for sale in all ReStores Interact with corporate donors in a professional manner to ensure a positive donation experience. Operate 24-26 foot box truck and maintain current/valid driver’s license and clean driving record Ability to move merchandise up to 100lbs Ability to load and unload trucks Maintain corporate and contact and donor records in Salesforce Adhere to all safety regulations of company, OSHA and TDOT Follow all HFHGN policies and procedures as outlined in the agency and ReStore procedures manuals Regular and reliable attendance is required.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, donor relations, corporate engagement, including coverage of multiple locations required Minimum of 5 years’ customer service experience preferred Retail & Construction material knowledge is a plus Commitment to HFHGN/ReStore stated mission and goals. Experience with Microsoft office products Experience driving a 26 ft. box truck Insurable driving record and a valid driver’s license Must have the ability and desire to work respectfully with people of all cultures, languages, national origins, races, ethnic backgrounds, religions, classes, immigration statuses, sexual orientations, gender identity and expressions, ages, mental or physical abilities, and other diversity factors. TIME REQUIREMENTS
This position is Tuesday through Saturday, may require 40+ hours per week. Satisfactory attendance is required.
