Security Engineers Applicant Management & Hiring Policy:

Duties/Skills:
- Monitor Statewide Security Camera Network and Alarm System
- Quickly Dispatch Security Officers to Incidents and Events
- Operate Sophisticated Camera, Alarm, Dispatch, and Reporting Applications
- Communicate Clearly and Effectively – In Person, on Radio, and in Writing
- Assist Company Response to Events such as Evacuation, Fire, Inclement Weather, and Active Shooter.
- Multi-Task any/all of the Above Duties
- Conduct Lengthy Foot Patrols Throughout Corporate Facilities
- Work Professionally in a
Fast-Paced Environment Requirements:
- Two+ Years of Public Safety Telecommunications (PST) experience with either completion of 40-hour PST Course or PST Competency Exam; or
- An Associate Degree from an accredited institution; or
- ACT Workkeys Scores of 4 in Workplace Documents, 4 in Graphic Literacy, and 3 in Applied Mathematics; or
- Two+ Years as an Air Traffic Controller, Power Plant Operator/Dispatcher; or in Gambling Surveillance.
Additional Requirements:
- Pass a background investigation
- Complete a psychological assessment Education Requirements (Any) High School Diploma or equivalent Associate’s degree Certification Requirements (Any) Alabama Security Regulatory Board License Able to obtain any & all security certifications/licenses Additional Information / Benefits Security Engineers offers competitive wages and benefits.
