Dispatch Lead

FULL-TIME

Opportunity We’re hiring Dispatcher Leads who are responsible for overseeing, coordinating, and prioritizing all Dispatch and Communications Center activities. This person assigns and routes transportation requests and can provide clear communication in all situations to ensure quality support and care to our customers.

Responsibilities:

Assume supervisory duties when Communications Center Supervisors are unavailable, including but not limited to delegating tasks, participating in performance reviews, training personnel, and issuing corrective action. Monitor phone queues and communicate with providers and community partners to resolve service-related issues. Receive incoming emergency and non-emergency calls and promptly ascertain proper levels of response. Allocate resources and inputs applicable information into the Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) system. Act as a liaison between local 911 centers, field personnel, and the Communications Center. Accurately complete all shift paperwork, including status and call time reports.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

Minimum 1 year of experience within a Dispatch/Communications Center. High School Diploma or equivalent (GED). Emergency Medical Dispatch Advanced (EMDA), CPR & ICS certification preferred.
