Summary We are seeking a Dispatcher to join our dynamic team at
M&J CARRIERS, LLC.
In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating transportation activities, and ensuring timely deliveries. Your contributions will be vital in maintaining our commitment to exceptional service and operational excellence. Responsibilities Handle all incoming calls from drivers and customers. Handles all customer call-ins and e-mail updates to customer on expected delivery/service times (ETA’s) when requested.. Track loads every 2 hours to insure on time delivery always. Handle out of service issues as they arise by coordinating road service when required. Complete all computer work for Loaded Calls, Empty Calls, Relays, Etc. Help drivers who cannot locate units, who are encountering locked gates, or blocked units by contacting customers, using google maps, or getting other drivers to assist. Notifies drivers of all changes affecting their route (Customer cancellations, pick-ups, location changes, accidents, etc.) Follow up on route activity from the previous day. Transferring all drivers’ notes, unit numbers, and additional services as needed. Checks in drivers as they come in the evening/night. Make sure all stops have been accounted for and reschedule any missing stops. Night dispatcher notifies the dispatch team of any truck issues that take a vehicle out of service for the next day. Keeps Dispatch Manager updated on issues and resolution of issues.
