Dispatch Manager Overview:

The Dispatch Manager will support the Dispatch Team in overseeing the daily operations. This role requires a detail-oriented and proactive individual who can ensure efficient scheduling, effective communication, and high levels of service delivery. The ywill play a crucial role in maintaining operational excellence and supporting our growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the team in a 24/7 environment. Ensure flawless, on-time performance for airline crews, utilizing a fleet of over 450 vehicles. Coordinate and manage the scheduling of drivers to ensure optimal coverage and efficiency. Monitor and respond to real-time operational issues, providing solutions and support to drivers and clients. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies. Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities and driver performance. Communicate effectively with drivers, clients, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations. Assist in training and developing dispatch staff, promoting a culture of continuous improvement. Support the implementation of new technologies and processes to enhance operational efficiency. Address and resolve any client or driver issues in a timely and professional manner. Provide regular reports and updates to key stakeholders.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in logistics, transportation, or a related field is a plus. Proven supervisory experience in dispatching, call center, transportation, or a related field. Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and dispatch software. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high-pressure situations. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Knowledge of federal and state transportation regulations is preferred. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
