Dispatch team members are the point of contact for drivers and clients, coordinating to balance customer needs with drivers’ health and safety. The Dispatcher – Logistics Coordinator Supervisor is committed to professional development of the Dispatchers and establishing a long-term career. Duties and Responsibilities of the Dispatcher/Logistics Coordinator include the following: Call management includes record call information, maintain details of each call, courteously update customers with call information. Use GPS systems to monitor fleet/drivers. Oversee driver commission reports. Create weekly schedules for Dispatchers. Complete employee reviews on a 30-day, 90-day, and annual schedule. Audit incoming customer calls. Oversee customers concerns and issues with a problem-solving positive attitude. Complete assignments from Manager in a timely and professional manner. Direct job pricing per customer needs. Load Planning. Ability to work unsupervised. Ability to multitask. Ability to communicate (oral and written), with customers, co-workers, and management. Strong problem-solving skills. Ability to maintain a clean and orderly workstation. General computer knowledge (word, outlook, excel, various Microsoft applications) and typing skills. General knowledge of internal fleet/equipment. General knowledge of customer’s fleet/equipment. Other duties may be assigned.
Preferred Qualifications:
2 Years of Supervisory experience in the Logistics Industry Logistics Industry focused
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of specific variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Work Schedule :
6:00am – 6:00pm
Friday, Saturday and Sunday Compensation:
$18.00 – $23.00 an hour
Job Types:
