The qualified candidate will have a minimum of 5 years heavy haul equipment dispatching,knowledgeable of all DOT rules and regulations. Able to pull the appropriate permits. “`Duties“`

• Manage transportation operations, including coordinating the movement of equipment and materials
• Perform data entry tasks to update transportation records and track inventory
• Oversee fleet maintenance and repairs, ensuring that all equipment is in good working condition
• Coordinate with drivers and third-party logistics (3PL) providers to ensure timely delivery of goods
• Utilize phone systems to communicate with drivers, suppliers, and other stakeholders
• Monitor freight rates and negotiate contracts with carriers to optimize transportation costs
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, including tracking numbers, delivery dates, and customer information
• Collaborate with supply chain teams to streamline transportation processes and improve efficiency
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly and professionally
• Follow safety protocols and adhere to regulatory requirements in all transportation activities “`Qualifications“`
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or training in transportation management is a plus
• Proven experience in transportation management, fleet management, or a related field
• Strong data entry skills with attention to detail and accuracy
• Knowledge of dispatching procedures and best practices

• Understanding of supply chain principles and logistics operations
• Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
