- Manage transportation operations, including coordinating the movement of equipment and materials
- Perform data entry tasks to update transportation records and track inventory
- Oversee fleet maintenance and repairs, ensuring that all equipment is in good working condition
- Coordinate with drivers and third-party logistics (3PL) providers to ensure timely delivery of goods
- Utilize phone systems to communicate with drivers, suppliers, and other stakeholders
- Monitor freight rates and negotiate contracts with carriers to optimize transportation costs
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, including tracking numbers, delivery dates, and customer information
- Collaborate with supply chain teams to streamline transportation processes and improve efficiency
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly and professionally
- Follow safety protocols and adhere to regulatory requirements in all transportation activities “`Qualifications“`
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or training in transportation management is a plus
- Proven experience in transportation management, fleet management, or a related field
