education: High School Responsibilities Randstad is actively building a pipeline of qualified Logistics Dispatchers for anticipated openings with our trusted clients located on the west side of Jacksonville. These positions are responsible for managing and coordinating the movement of freight and drivers, ensuring timely and efficient delivery schedules while maintaining communication with internal departments and external partners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispatch drivers efficiently based on routes, load types, and customer requirements
• Communicate with carriers, customers, and team members via phone, email, and dispatch software
• Monitor shipment progress and provide real-time updates or reroutes as needed
• Track delivery performance and resolve any scheduling conflicts or delays
• Maintain accurate records of dispatch activity and prepare reports as required Additional Information Help for Additional Information.

Qualifications:

• 1+ year of experience in dispatching, logistics coordination, or a transportation environment
• Proficient with dispatching software and MS Office (especially Excel and Outlook)
• strong communication and multitasking skills in a fast-paced setting
• Flexibility to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift depending on client needs
• High school diploma or equivalent; logistics or supply chain coursework a plus Skills
• Microsoft Office (3 years of experience is required)
• Logistical Support (2 years of experience is required)
• Dispatch (2 years of experience is required)
• TMS Software Qualifications
• Years of experience: 2 years
