We’re growing and looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Fleet Manager to join our team and help keep operations running smoothly.
Position Overview:
The Fleet Manager will be responsible for overseeing daily operations related to our fleet of drivers and trucks. This includes managing dispatch, booking dry van loads, communicating with customers and brokers, ensuring all permits and paperwork are properly handled, and supporting accurate billing. The ideal candidate is organized, communicative, and understands the demands of heavy haul transportation. Duties Manage and support company drivers on daily dispatch operations Coordinate and assign loads efficiently while maximizing fleet utilization Pull oversize/overweight permits as needed based on route and equipment Collect and organize all load-related documents and images for billing Provide proactive shipment updates to customers and brokers Ensure all driver logs, inspections, and records are in compliance Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during shipments Work closely with sales and operations teams to meet customer expectations Skills Prior experience in fleet management, dispatch, or heavy haul logistics Strong understanding of DOT regulations and permitting requirements Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to multitask and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment A Team Player with a strong sense of accountability Proficient with dispatching software and
