Our 20 mobile crushing crews travel from site to site, turning rubble piles into custom screen-sized crushed aggregate to meet each client’s unique needs. Our fleet of heavy machinery is critical to our success and is supported by a proactive maintenance program. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a Transportation Dispatcher who understands the vital role equipment movement plays in keeping our operations running smoothly. In this dynamic, team-driven environment, the ability to coordinate responsive, cost-effective dispatch decisions—and ensure every driver and vehicle stays compliant with DOT regulations—is key to keeping jobs on schedule, crews productive, and the company operating safely and efficiently. What You’ll Do As our Transportation Dispatcher, you’ll serve as the central point of contact for internal teams and outside vendors to ensure timely, safe, and DOT-compliant movement of equipment. You’ll be responsible for: Dispatch Scheduling & Load Coordination Manage daily and weekly dispatch schedules based on operations and sales requests Assign loads to drivers based on availability and qualifications Provide detailed instructions including routes, sequence, and special handling notes Adjust scheduling as needed for field conditions, weather, or jobsite changes Third-Party Hauling & Vendor Management Schedule and coordinate with third-party haulers when internal capacity is limited Maintain and evaluate a reliable vendor network Track vendor performance and ensure timely, cost-effective service Outsourced Maintenance & Field Repairs Coordinate maintenance and repairs through approved service providers Schedule preventative maintenance to minimize downtime Dispatch field support or mobile mechanics as needed for breakdowns Maintain service documentation for compliance and tracking DOT Compliance Oversight Maintain all company DOT records, including
MCS-90/150
filings, annual inspections, and accident registry Oversee driver qualification files, Hazmat shipping records, and DVIRs Monitor driver HOS and ELD logs for full compliance Serve as the company contact for DOT audits and inspections Records Management & Internal Communication Keep driver, vehicle, and compliance records organized and audit-ready Provide reporting on dispatch performance, vendor usage, and fleet compliance Support drivers with day-to-day logistical needs and field updates Collaborate closely with sales and operations to stay aligned with project schedules What You’ll Need to Succeed 3+ years of experience in dispatch, logistics, or DOT-regulated fleet operations Strong working knowledge of
DOT/FMCSA
regulations, including HOS, inspections, and compliance Proficiency with ELD systems, dispatching tools, and platforms like Foley or Fleet Complete Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail Strong communication and vendor coordination abilities Self-starter mindset with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced, high-change environment Why Join Us?
