ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Create
CUSTOMER
focused, cost effective solutions for reactive customer delivery requests utilizing provided route planning software, mapping tools and local knowledge. Update customers as required with ETA information as planning takes place Maintain necessary updates and comments in JDE Enterprise One Case Management Assist in the maintenance of route/schedule changes and updates. Review routes for effectiveness; ensure necessary resources are in place to maintain service excellence. Work with Dispatch management team to develop cost effective solutions for remote and special requirement customers. Keep necessary reporting systems accurately updated on a timely basis. Monitor daily delivery routes for compliance to routing solutions. Maintain contact with drivers to ensure routes are practical and manageable. Audit compliance and help in corrective action as necessary. Re-optimize routes affected by customer requests using the most cost-effective solution available. Review updated customer delivery requirements and the impact on routing application.
QUALIFICATIONS 1
+ years experience utilizing dispatch/routing management software (Ortec, Roadnet, JDE etc.). 1 + years experience leading a multi-stop dispatch management environment and the managing of drivers in daily route compliance. Ability to analyze information and make decisions that limit costs and satisfy customer requirements Unwavering commitment to “safety first”. Experience using “mapping” software to develop, analyze and audit driver routes Experience using Outlook, MS Excel, and MS Word. MS Access preferred. Experience importing and exporting data from various systems. Takes personal accountability in owning Problems-Solutions-Results…”never passes the buck.” Ability to drive compliance through communication, follow-up and reporting. Experience with pressurized systems, and high-pressure cylinder delivery.
EDUCATION AND TRAINING
High School diploma required or
GED EXPERIENCE
Preferred:
3+ years of work experience. Customer support experience, Strong communication and critical thinking skills Ability to work various shifts. Must be flexible to work overtime. Dispatching experience is a plus.
