Dispatcher SpeedX Doral, FL 33122 Job Summary SPEEDX is a fast-growing last-mile delivery company dedicated to providing exceptional service to our clients. We are looking for energetic and detail-oriented Dispatchers to join our team. This role requires early morning starts and hands-on work in both warehouse and outdoor conditions, playing a key part in the daily dispatch operations. This position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Verify and organize delivery routes for drivers, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Scan packages and ensure all items are accounted for before dispatch. Assist drivers with parking, loading, and answering questions about routes. Physically move and organize carts of packages, ensuring timely dispatch. Actively search for misplaced packages and ensure they are correctly routed. Provide clear communication to drivers regarding route changes, updates, and any delivery issues. Work in both indoor warehouse and outdoor environments, handling physical tasks and helping to maintain smooth dispatch operations. Maintain safety standards and ensure a clean, organized workspace.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in dispatch, logistics, or warehouse operations is a plus, but not required. Ability to start shifts early (3-4 AM) and work in a fast-paced environment. Comfortable working in both indoor and outdoor conditions, and moving frequently throughout the day. Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with drivers and warehouse staff. High attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Ability to lift and move packages and carts as part of daily responsibilities. Proficiency with scanning equipment and basic computer skills. Team player with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
