Job Description
Are you a highly organized and efficient professional with a knack for logistics and strong communication skills? A leading company in Miami, Florida, is looking for a dedicated Dispatcher (Container/Trucks) to join our dynamic team! In this Direct Hire role, you’ll coordinate 100-120 drivers, trucks, and containers, maximizing productivity and ensuring prompt, efficient customer service. This position offers long-term employment with significant growth potential. We’re Looking For:
To succeed in this role, you should have:
Experience:
At least one (1) year dispatching high-volume local/long-haul trucking moves in the U.S.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Communication:
Advanced English (verbal and written) and Intermediate to Advanced conversational Spanish.
Skills:
Accurate alpha/numeric processing, strong interpersonal skills, excellent time management, detail-oriented, logical decision-making, ability to follow instructions, work with limited supervision, multitask under pressure.
Availability:
Willingness to work extended hours, holidays, weekends, including one full weekend every 4-5 weeks.
Environment:
Thrives in a fast-paced environment and meets deadlines.
Location:
Must reside within the Miami, Florida geographic region.
Preferred:
One (1) year of prior heavy commercial truck driving experience and U.S. geographical knowledge.

$45,000 – $45,760 per yearshift: Firstwork hours: 8 AM – 5

High SchoolResponsibilities Assigns drivers, draws up routes and handles pick-up and delivery schedule. Schedules, coordinates and dispatches deliveries, service calls and related activities. Work cooperatively with other departments to assist in planning for optimum productivity. Coordinates the movement of third party trucks and freight between cities. Communicate any delays or issues with appropriate company personnel via telephone and/or e-mail. Monitors activity and inputs information via an in-house software system as well as through other forms of communication. Respond to common inquiries relating to the areas assigned. Performs data entry for operational record keeping systems. Report driver performance issues or concerns to appropriate management for resolution.
