The dispatcher will dispatch about 20-30 drivers and also assist in customer service.

Responsibilities include:

Coordinate route driver pick-up and delivery activity Monitor OS&D procedures for drivers Data entry of real time status of shipments Prepare operational reports for dispatch operations Reconcile & manage driver documents Communicating with shippers, customers, drivers, and managers with any problems Customer service for tracing and expediting shipments Shipment entry on within internal & external software Provide excellent customer service Experience, education and skill requirements: Minimum 3 years of local LTL dispatch experience Must have complete knowledge of the South Florida area Positive, professional attitude Great organization and attention to detail Strong communication, phone, and people skills Must be reliable & punctual Ability to multi-task and handle stress in a fast paced environment Ability to work both independently and as a team, following instruction from management High school graduate Data entry skills Proficient in Excel, Outlook (e-mail) and web usage
