We are the Orlando International Airport! The Greater Orlando Aviation Authority (GOAA) operates MCO and the Orlando Executive Airport. POSITION SUMMARY

Dispatch Police, Fire, Medical and Airport Operations response personnel to emergency and non-emergency situations including aircraft emergencies. Operate 800 MHz CRT Public Safety Communications System, Airport paging system, and other complex computerized safety and security systems. Serve as Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) and answer all 9-1-1 calls originating on airport property, including TDD equipment. Operate Florida and National Crime Information Center (FCIC/NCIC) computer systems and relay information to Criminal Justice personnel when appropriate. Perform other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

High school graduate or equivalent and at least two (2) years experience with fire/security alarm systems and emergency dispatching in fire, rescue, medical or police operations; or an equivalent combination of closely related education, training and experience. Three (3) years of experience preferred.
Current IAEMD and

NCIC/FCIC

certifications preferred. Familiarity with 800 MHz public safety systems and 911 computerized answering systems preferred.
Must know and follow Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) regulations.
Must pass 25 CWPM typing test, and possess the ability to input information accurately into CAD and utilize computerized information systems.

IAEMD, NCIC/FCIC, CPR, TDD

certifications, and Florida State Certification for Public Safety Dispatchers required or the ability to obtain within one year of employment.
Florida driver license or state ID required.
Must be able and willing to work rotating shifts, weekends, evenings and holidays.
