With multiple offices throughout Florida, we are seeking a highly organized and experienced Dispatcher to coordinate the daily operations of over 20 fence crews across the state. Position Overview The Dispatcher plays a critical role in scheduling crews, verifying job readiness, managing emergency service calls, and optimizing routes for efficiency. This role requires strong logistics experience, real-time problem-solving skills, and clear communication with field teams, project managers, and customers.

Key Responsibilities Crew Scheduling & Coordination:

Assign daily jobs to fence installation crews across multiple locations. Coordinate with CDL drivers to efficiently transport materials and avoid overloading trucks.

Job Readiness Verification:

Confirm site readiness, utility locates, quantities, and special materials with sales teams and customers before dispatch. Ensure rental items are in stock and any custom items are fabricated or procured in advance.

Emergency Response:

Serve as the point of contact for last-minute job changes, emergency repairs, service calls, and equipment issues (e.g., truck breakdowns).

Route Optimization & Fleet Coordination:

Utilize telematics and tracking tools to optimize routes, monitor crew safety through onboard cameras, and reduce fuel costs.

Real-Time Problem Solving:

Respond to delays, changes, or conflicts as they arise and adjust schedules accordingly.

Communication:

Maintain active communication with crew leaders, project managers, and clients to resolve scheduling issues and coordinate daily priorities.

Documentation & Reporting:

Accurately log job completions, crew productivity, and scheduling changes. Review paperwork for accuracy before submission to the accounting team.
