Security Dispatcher – Office Building (Lake Mary, FL) OPG Security is hiring a reliable, detail-oriented Security Dispatcher for 7am-3pm and 3pm-11pm shifts for a corporate property in Orlando, FL . This position plays a key role in maintaining safety and efficiency by coordinating communication with roving patrol officers and documenting all activity through detailed reports . Position Overview As the central point of communication for our security team, the Dispatcher is responsible for staying in constant contact with roving patrol officers, assigning calls or areas to check, and documenting all activity throughout the shift. This role requires strong communication, computer skills, and attention to detail to ensure accurate, real-time reporting and effective coordination. Key Responsibilities Maintain constant radio and/or phone communication with roving patrol officers Dispatch patrols accordingly Log and track officer movements and site checks throughout the shift Prepare and submit written reports based on patrol activity and incidents Maintain a detailed shift log and pass down information for incoming teams Respond to client or supervisor inquiries in a professional manner Support emergency response coordination as needed Requirements Must be 18 years or older High school diploma or equivalent Valid Florida D Security License (required) Dispatching or security experience preferred Strong verbal and written communication skills Proficient with basic computer systems and reporting tools Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking skills Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle multiple tasks at once Professional appearance and demeanor Shift & Availability Shifts range from 7am-3pm/3pm-11pm Overnight and weekend upon request This is a 24/7 post — multiple shifts and positions available Pay Starting at $15.00 per hour , based on experience and shift If you’re dependable, tech-savvy, and ready to play a vital role in protecting high-value properties, apply today and become a trusted part of the OPG Security team.
