Job Overview:

As a Service Dispatcher, you will play a critical role in coordinating the efficient deployment of our field service personnel to meet customer needs and ensure timely resolution of service requests. You will be responsible for managing schedules, communicating with field technicians, and ensuring that our customers receive the best possible service.

Key Responsibilities:

1.

Dispatch and Schedule:
  • Receive incoming service requests via phone, email, or other communication channels.
  • Schedule service appointments and dispatch field service technicians to customer locations.
  • Prioritize service requests based on urgency, location, and technician availability.
  • Monitor technician availability and workload to optimize efficiency.

Customer Communication:
  • Communicate with customers to confirm service appointments, provide updates on technician arrival times, and gather essential information for the service call.
  • Handle customer inquiries and provide exceptional customer service, addressing any concerns or issues promptly and professionally.

3.

Documentation and Reporting:
  • Maintain accurate records of service calls, including customer information, service details, and technician notes.
  • Generate reports on service activities, technician performance, and customer feedback.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in service dispatching, customer service, or a related role is preferred.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in using computer software for scheduling and record-keeping.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick decisions in scheduling situations.
  • Knowledge of Salesforceand Microsoft Business Central is an advantage.
