Key Responsibilities Orchestrate Shipping Department operations, ensuring excellence in service and adherence to standard operating protocols. Lead team coaches to guarantee process efficiency. Manage extensive associate reviews, foster team development, document attendance, handle payroll matters, and administer necessary corrective measures. Facilitate daily department meetings, engage in cross-functional collaborations to enhance communication, and introduce new operational guidelines. Resolve logistical and customer-related issues swiftly. Oversee employee growth and development initiatives. Direct the loading of shipments, prepare documentation, manage warehouse supplies, finalize system uploads, and report performance data. Operate advanced warehouse vehicles efficiently. Ensure a safe and orderly dock environment. The Ideal Candidate Minimum of 3 years of experience in roles related to shipping and packing processes. Proficient with warehouse management software like AS/400, Kronos, or others. Proficient in using word processing and spreadsheet software. Certified to operate warehouse machinery including forklifts. High school diploma or equivalent required. Physical capacity to perform essential functions, with accommodations available if needed.
