Americ Transit, Inc., a leader in Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT), is looking for a reliable, tech-savvy, and highly organized Dispatcher to coordinate patient transportation services in the Atlanta area. This is a critical position that helps ensure timely, safe, and professional service to our clients. Duties Schedule, assign, and dispatch drivers for wheelchair, stretcher, and ambulatory trips Use dispatch software and GPS systems to manage daily operations efficiently Maintain clear communication with drivers and clients throughout the day Handle trip updates, cancellations, rescheduling, and urgent dispatch needs Track performance, maintain logs, and report issues to management Collaborate with operations to improve route efficiency and client satisfaction Skills Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail preferred (English//Creole) Excellent verbal and written communication skills Must possess a valid and clean driver’s license Must be 24 years or older Able to pass a drug test, background check, and fingerprinting Previous dispatch, transportation, or logistics experience is a plus Able to multitask in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
