Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Non-Emergency Dispatcher to join our team. Your responsibilities will include dispatching ambulances, verifying insurance details, inputting data accurately, and occasionally handling emergency calls. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have strong organizational skills, this role is for you.
Schedule:
Training:
Paid 2-3 months of training on a regular day shift (Monday to Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM).
Post-training:
Rotating shifts of 7 PM – 7 AM, three days on and two days off, including holidays.

$45K +

Key Responsibilities:
Dispatch ambulances to ensure timely and efficient services. Verify and maintain accurate insurance information. Perform data entry tasks with precision. Provide excellent customer service through professional phone communication. Occasionally handle emergency calls and manage critical situations.
Requirements:
Strong knowledge of medical terminology and proficiency in data entry. Excellent customer service skills and phone presence. Experience in dispatching is a plus; however, related experience as a medical assistant, receptionist, or administrator is highly desirable. High school diploma or GED required; CMA certification is a bonus. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook). Ability to file and type accurately. Open availability, including weekends. Successful completion of a drug test and background check.
