As a Dispatch Manager, you will be at the helm of ourdynamic dispatch team, ensuring the smooth and efficient operationof our fleet. This is an exciting opportunity for a drivenindividual to take on a leadership role in our fast-paced logisticscompany. You will be responsible for managing a team ofdispatchers, coordinating and overseeing the transportation ofgoods to ensure timely delivery. You will also be the point ofcontact for drivers and clients, resolving any issues that mayarise, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. This rolerequires strong organizational skills, excellent communication, anda keen eye for detail.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and manage thedaily operations of the dispatch team. 2. Coordinate and assigndelivery schedules to drivers. 3. Monitor and track shipments toensure timely delivery. 4. Resolve any issues or delays in thedelivery process. 5. Maintain communication with drivers, providingthem with necessary support and guidance. 6. Ensure compliance withcompany policies and transportation regulations. 7. Develop andimplement strategies to improve operational efficiency. 8. Handlecustomer inquiries and complaints, ensuring high levels of customersatisfaction. 9. Train and mentor new dispatch team members. 10.Prepare and present performance reports to senior management.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a DispatchManager or a similar role in the logistics industry. 2. Provenexperience in managing a team. 3. Proficient in dispatch softwareand routing systems. 4. Excellent knowledge of transportationregulations and procedures. 5. Strong problem-solving abilities anda keen eye for detail. 6. Exceptional communication and leadershipskills. 7. Ability to handle stressful situations and makedecisions quickly. 8. High level of customer service orientation.9. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or arelated field is preferred. 10. Valid driver’s license is a plus.
