Position Overview:
Large apartment community on the West Bank is seeking a dedicated and highly organized Maintenance Dispatcher to join our team. The primary role of the Dispatcher is to efficiently manage maintenance calls, dispatch technicians, and maintain communication between various teams and departments. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, strong time management abilities, and strong computers skills including proficiency in MS Office suite products.
Key Responsibilities:
Answer phones and respond to maintenance requests promptly and professionally. Prepare and manage work orders, ensuring they are accurate and complete. Dispatch maintenance technicians to service calls, providing clear instructions and necessary background information. Maintain accurate records of assets, work orders, and communications. Schedule and coordinate with outside contractors as needed. Serve as the central point of contact for the maintenance team, facilitating communication and ensuring smooth operations. Ensure clear and timely communication with the Facilities Coordinator, Facilities Manager, Property Manager, and other relevant management regarding ongoing and potential issues. Provide excellent customer service to residents, managing their expectations and addressing any concerns calmly and professionally.
Qualifications:
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively. Reasonably assertive with the ability to manage and direct maintenance activities. Proficient in MS Office suite products and other computer applications. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on problem-solving. Ability to maintain a calm and professional demeanor under pressure. Basic understanding of maintenance issues and solutions. • Experience in property management, maintenance, construction, or similar industries preferred.
