Full Job Description About Us:

We are a leading driveaway transportation company specializing in delivering commercial trucks across the United States and Canada. Our team is growing, and we are seeking a motivated and organized Driveaway Dispatcher to help manage our expanding driver fleet and keep our operations running smoothly.

Position Overview:

As a Driveaway Dispatcher, you will be responsible for coordinating trips, assigning loads, and communicating with drivers to ensure timely and safe deliveries. You will be the key point of contact for drivers and customers, balancing logistics efficiency with great customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Assign trips to qualified drivers based on availability, experience, and load requirements Monitor trip progress, troubleshoot delays, and support drivers Communicate clearly and professionally with drivers, customers, and internal teams Update dispatch software with trip details, delivery status, and driver notes Maintain compliance with DOT regulations and company safety protocols Manage driver schedules and ensure proper documentation is collected (logs, inspections, BOLs, etc.) Assist with emergency dispatching and problem-solving as needed

Qualifications:

1+ years of experience in dispatching, transportation, or logistics preferred (Driveaway experience a plus) Strong multitasking and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and customer service skills Proficient with dispatching systems and standard office software (Microsoft Excel, Google Workspace, etc.) Ability to work independently and as part of a team Familiarity with DOT regulations and transportation industry best practices
