Greets visitors in a professional, courteous manner to provide passes, maps, information or directions as needed. Received incoming calls and messages; directs communication internally as required, provides information and guidance while demonstrating a courteous and helpful manner. Maintains accurate radio log, recording pertinent information concerning calls and activities of each officer. Performs other related duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Must have a high school diploma or GED Must be at least 18 years of age. Must successfully complete the APCO Basic Telecommunication Training during the first year of appointment. Must become familiar with the Crimestar Software program Must become familiar with MUW’s text messaging software program. Must pass a background investigation. Must be a United States citizen. Must be available to work 12- hours on rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays. One year of successful work experience in a public-contact occupation. Must be able to deal with stressful situations, including life-threatening incidents. Must be able to lift over 10 pounds and stand for long periods of time
