Position Overview:

Were looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Dispatch Assistant to support our Transportation Operations Manager and dispatch team. Youll play a vital role in helping our drivers stay on schedule and ensuring smooth daily operations in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Schedule:

Full-Time (40 hours/week) Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00

PM On-site Only Compensation:

Key Responsibilities:

Make outbound calls to secure freight loads and confirm delivery appointments Answer incoming calls and provide excellent customer service Assist with route planning and driver scheduling Track and update load statuses using dispatch software Communicate effectively with drivers, brokers, and customers Maintain organized records of shipping documentation and call logs Support problem-solving efforts for delays or last-minute changes

Qualifications:

Strong communication and interpersonal skills (written and verbal) Ability to stay organized and multitask under pressure Basic computer proficiency; experience with dispatch/logistics systems a plus High school diploma or equivalent Interest in pursuing a career in transportation or logistics Why Join Us?
