The dispatcher will be responsible for accurately dispatching and recording the weight of incoming and outgoing shipments in a metal recycling facility environment. This role is crucial for maintaining inventory accuracy and ensuring efficient order fulfillment processes. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse operations, including familiarity with various equipment, commodities and systems. Duties Operate scale equipment to weigh products accurately before loading or unloading. Record weight data and maintain accurate logs for inventory management. Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure proper handling of packages during the weighing process. Utilize a Warehouse Management System (WMS) to track inventory levels and manage order fulfillment. Ensure compliance with safety regulations while operating equipment within the warehouse. Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote efficiency. Daily dispatching of drivers for daily routes Managing and ensuring accurate records for export containers on a daily basis. Answer phones as needed Skills Experience with load unloading processes in a recycling center setting. Familiarity with warehouse management systems for tracking inventory. Strong attention to detail for accurate weighing and record-keeping.. Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members. Punctuality and reliability are a must.
