Dispatch Support Position Available In Hudson, New Jersey

Dispatch Support The Judge Organization 150 Industrial Drive, Jersey City, NJ 07305 We are in search of a reliable Dispatch Support specialist to act as a liaison between the dispatchers, customers and marine terminals. The ideal candidate must be primarily an excellent communicator with great computer skills. You must be able to multi task as well as take the appropriate action with little supervision. The goal is to enable different parties to communicate well by ensuring the accurate and timely transmission of information.

Responsibilities:

Track & trace container movements on various websites. Receive and dispatch orders for products or deliveries. Prioritize calls according to urgency and importance. Communicate container status to customers via email. Enter data in computer system and maintain logs and records of calls, activities and other information.

Skills:

Proven experience as dispatcher or relevant position. Tech-savvy with knowledge of relevant methods (CAD) Fast typing with experience in data entry Knowledge of procedures and guidelines for Steam Ship Lines Proficient in English (oral and written) Spanish speaking a plus Outstanding organizational and multitasking abilities Active listener with excellent communication skills Sound judgement and critical thinking
