Responsibilities Coordinate and schedule shipments, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to customer requirements. Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and third-party logistics (3PL) providers to resolve any issues that may arise during transportation. Monitor fleet management operations to optimize routes and reduce delays. Maintain accurate records of shipping and receiving activities, including documentation for compliance purposes. Utilize Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to analyze transportation routes and improve efficiency. Respond promptly to inquiries via phone systems, providing exceptional customer service throughout the dispatch process. Collaborate with team members to improve logistics processes and enhance overall service quality. Requirements Proven experience in logistics or transportation management is preferred.. Knowledge of fleet management practices and principles is essential. Strong understanding of shipping and receiving processes within a 3PL environment. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to multitask effectively. Proficiency in using phone systems for communication with drivers and clients.
