We pride ourselves on reliability, service, and strong relationships with our customers. We’re currently seeking a highly organized and proactive Dispatcher to join our operations team.

Position Summary:

We are looking for a hands-on Dispatcher to oversee daily logistics operations. This individual will be the primary point of contact for our drivers and warehouse team to ensure timely deliveries, efficient routing, and effective communication throughout the day. This is a fast-paced, high-responsibility role critical to the smooth operation of our business.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure all drivers are checked in, trucks are loaded, and routes are launched on time each morning. Maintain constant communication with drivers throughout the day via phone, text, or radio. Adjust routes and schedules on the fly in response to call-outs, delays, or delivery issues. Coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure materials are properly staged and loaded for delivery. Track and monitor truck locations and delivery progress using GPS or logistics software. Handle sick calls and driver absences, including arranging coverage or rescheduling routes as needed. Communicate delivery changes to customers when necessary. Serve as the go-to support person for anything the delivery department needs to run smoothly. Work closely with sales, warehouse, and customer service teams to ensure delivery expectations are met.

Requirements:

3+ years of dispatching, logistics, or delivery coordination experience (preferred in distribution or construction supply). Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask under pressure. Excellent communication skills with both drivers and internal teams. Problem-solving mindset and ability to think on your feet. Working knowledge of dispatching/routing software and Microsoft Office Suite. Familiarity with NYC/Long Island/Metro area geography a plus. Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus but not required.
