Now Hiring – Shop Dispatcher We’re seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Automotive Shop Dispatcher to support our fast-paced Service Department. This key position is responsible for coordinating shop flow, managing technician dispatching, and ensuring efficient repair order handling.
Key Responsibilities:
Dispatching work to technicians based on skill level and shop availability. Monitoring and managing shop capacity to ensure efficient workflow. Prioritizing vehicles based on customer need, warranty status, and downtime. Communicating with Parts and Service Advisors regarding special-ordered parts, hold-ups, or delays. Working closely with service management to track problem vehicles and those down for extended time. Ensuring proper documentation and status updates for all repair orders. Supporting technician time tracking and flag sheet accuracy. Helping identify shop bottlenecks and working with the team to resolve them. Upholding company policies and fostering teamwork in the shop.
