Full-Time Pay:
$31.25 per hour Are you a detail-oriented professional with a knack for logistics and communication? Our client is seeking a reliable Dispatcher to coordinate daily operations and ensure smooth, timely pickups and deliveries. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong organizational skills and experience in dispatching freight or dump truck operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Schedule and assign drivers for pickups and deliveries Select, monitor, and optimize routes for safety and efficiency Assign trucks based on equipment availability Maintain consistent communication with drivers regarding delays, traffic, and updates Ensure compliance with all federal and state transportation regulations Handle incoming communications across multiple platforms (calls, texts, emails) Provide real-time dispatch support in emergency situations
Qualifications:
Experience:
Minimum 3 years experience in freight, dump, or heavy equipment dispatching Previous CDL experience is a plus Strong knowledge of the transportation and shipping industry
Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Professional and calm demeanor under pressure
Technical:
Proficiency with dispatch software and Microsoft Office 365 Ability to learn and adapt to new systems quickly Accurate and timely data entry and record-keeping
Education:
