Cashier / Dispatcher Clarion Hotel Philadelphia International Airport 76 Industrial Highway, Essington, PA 19029 Perks Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance, Paid Vacation, Paid Personal Days, Paid Holidays, Complimentary Life Insurance, Employee Discounts Job Summary The Cashier/Dispatcher is responsible for accurately processing customer payments for parking fees, dispatching drivers to the Clarion Hotel and the Philadelphia International Airport in a timely manner and answering incoming calls in a professional and courteous manner. Responsibilities Collect payment for parking services and accurately process all cash and credit card transactions in compliance with cash handling and accounting procedures. Answer phone in a prompt and courteous manner. Maintain constant radio contact with shuttle drivers to ensure proper rotation and direct them in their pick-up and drop-off locations. Count bank at end of shift to ensure proper reconciliation, complete necessary documentation, resolve any discrepancies, and secure bank in accordance with established policies and procedures. Resolve customer complaints, elevating to supervisor if needed. Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communications and coordination with other shifts and departments. Monitor safety and security of parking lot and report an issues or concerns to management. Assist customers with any questions, complaints and/or concerns in a courteous manner to ensure customer satisfaction. Perform other duties/tasks as assigned by management. Skills Ability to communicate effectively in English. Strong customer service and communication skills with the ability to give instructions clearly. Basic math or accounting skills. Ability to problem solve to effectively deal with customers. Ability to multitask, detail oriented and comfortable with high call volume. Must have computer skills to operate various property management and reservation systems. Must be comfortable working in an enclosed ticket booth. Must be able to work with others, communicate well and receive direction when needed to achieve department goals and objectives. Must be able to sit for extended periods of time. Manual dexterity required. Ability to work flexible shifts to include days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent Previous customer service experience Previous cash handling experience Previous dispatch experience a plus.
