Key:
  • = Full TimePart Time Regular Staff Only As a Dispatcher/Store Room Clerk, you will carry out our Mission of Love by working under the general supervision of the Food Controller, performing transportation, material handling functions and kitchen utility duties.

Our Dispatcher/Store Room Clerk is responsible for the following: Performs vehicle maintenance checks on oil, fuel, or antifreeze, tire inflation and scheduled maintenance/service requirements to Company truck. Operate trucks over public roads following safe and prescribed operating procedures. Maintains daily vehicle logs as prescribed by Codes, Rules and Regulations. Load and unload trucks using daily manifests to determine the goods, carts or other material or food service equipment to be distributed to each site. Sort, gather, count and containerize the requisitions daily, using computerized requisitions. Verify counts and accuracy of requisition fill. Completes and reports regularly scheduled daily or weekly inventory of dispatch coolers. Reports needs of par items, inventory discrepancies, overages, and out of stock items. Maintains sanitation and organization of assigned area, including but not limited to dispatch Handle large volumes of carts and food stuffs safely and in a manner that complies with time and temperature requirements and all Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point Program (HACCP) standards, and documents compliance daily. Assist others in loading/unloading carts, racks and containers assigned in daily job routines.

What You Have:

High school graduate or equivalent preferred. Ability to interpret invoices, pick orders, communicate clearly during delivery drops, and find resolution to inter-departmental requests required. Good written, oral, organizational, and computer skills required. Prior food service/prep experience recommended Valid Pennsylvania driver’s license required. Safe food handling (ServeSafe) certification is recommended, required within 60 days of hire. Training provided and costs covered by the department-organization.
