•Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dispatcher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing dispatch information to drivers, answering driver phone calls/text messages to address issues/updates, and will obtain load documentation from drivers after deliveries are completed. This role requires strong communication skills, proficiency in data entry, and familiarity with transportation management systems. Responsibilities Assist dispatch team by answering driver calls/texts, ensure drivers have all pertinent load information/details, provide ETAs to customers, and obtain load documents from drivers. Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and dispatch team members to coordinate deliveries Perform data entry tasks utilizing spreadsheets and third party software Monitor GPS systems to track vehicle locations and optimize routes Maintain accurate and organized records of dispatch activities Uphold professional phone etiquette while interacting with clients and team members Requirements 2-3 years experience in dispatching or a logistics-related field. Strong data entry skills with high attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes within the transportation industry. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively. Must be based in the greater Charleston SC area with reliable transportation. Experience using Microsoft/Google product suites (Word/Docs, Excel/Sheets, etc.) •Port/intermodal/drayage knowledge preferred Health, dental, and vision benefits available after 3 months of employment Quarterly performance-based incentive/bonus program
