•Prior Security Experience Preferred A successful Dispatcher will have strong organizational skills as well as strong communication skills for managing incoming calls and working with staff and clients. They should have a professional voice and experience of working with people. Here are several skills and qualifications a Dispatcher should have. Excellent computer skills. Knowledgeable in MS Word, and Excel, with the ability to learn programs quickly. You will be required to pass a skills test.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Must read, write, and speak English.
The ability to remain calm, solve problems, and act effectively in a critical situation.
Must be customer service oriented.
Must have strong verbal, problem-solving, and follow-up skills; and the ability to coordinate and perform several tasks simultaneously.
