Applicant must be able to pass a drug test and background check. We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dispatcher to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating transportation logistics, managing freight operations, and ensuring timely delivery of goods. This role requires strong communication skills, proficiency in transportation management systems, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Coordinate and schedule transportation routes for efficient freight delivery. Utilize phone systems to communicate with drivers, clients, internal offices effectively. Monitor GPS tracking systems to ensure timely arrivals and departures. Manage transportation planning Maintain accurate records of shipments, deliveries, and any issues that arise during transit. Collaborate with team members to optimize logistics and improve service quality. Scan Paperwork into our system. Qualifications Proven experience in a dispatch or logistics role is preferred. Familiarity with transportation management systems Knowledge of freight operations and regulations is advantageous. Proficient in using GPS technology for tracking shipments. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while managing multiple tasks simultaneously. Experience with AS400 or similar systems is beneficial.
