Job Description
911 Dispatcher City of Clinton Clinton, TN 37716 Free health, dental, and vision for employee and their families. Free life insurance (4x’s annual salary for employee); $250 safety bonus; longevity bonus.
Responsibilities:
- Receive emergency calls and gather necessary information
- Dispatch appropriate emergency personnel to designated locations
- Utilize GIS and GPS systems to determine the most efficient routes for emergency responders
- Monitor and track the status of emergency units in the field
- Provide phone triage and offer medical advice when necessary
- Transcribe accurate and detailed information from callers
- Analyze situations and make quick decisions to ensure appropriate response
- Communicate effectively with emergency personnel, law enforcement agencies, and other relevant parties
- Maintain accurate records of all calls, dispatches, and actions taken
- Collaborate with other dispatchers to ensure seamless coordination of emergency services
Skills:
- Proficient in using GIS software for mapping and routing purposes
- Knowledge of law enforcement procedures and protocols.
