Manchester – Dispatch Coordinator 3.6 3.6 out of 5 stars 600 Manchester Industrial Pkwy, Manchester, TN 37355 As a Dispatch Coordinator, you will assist in the planning and execution of business assets, partners with internal and external customers to provide a level of customer service that fosters both internal and external customer growth and retention.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Meets company mission and strategic goals Responsible for ownership, coordination, and implementation of freight movement between distribution centers Ensures Quality and Safety in the respective work area Compiles data and reports to deliver solutions for change Assumes Driver Supervisor Responsibilities in their absence Assists with driver payroll tasks and expense Collaborates with both external internal partners to address concerns Works to improve productivity and reduce cycle time of processes
YOU MUST HAVE
High school diploma, General Equivalency Degree, or relevant work experience Computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office programs Strong verbal and written communication skills Skills to be successful in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines Willingness to work as a team
YOU MAY ALSO HAVE
College degree Administrative / clerical experience preferred Working knowledge of Department of Transportation (DOT) rules and regulations Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills Strong organizational and leadership skills
