Himmel’s is a growing organization with locations in New Orleans, Prairieville, Houston, and Nashville. We pride ourselves as door opening experts, not simply a construction material supplier. Our family owned and operated company is currently seeking a Dispatcher to join our team at our Nashville, TN Location! This position is scheduled Monday

  • Thursday 6am
  • 4:30pm and Friday 6am
  • 3:30pm with occasional overtime required.

Dispatcher ‍ Job Responsibilities Conduct morning team meetings. Submit project tickets to our Prairieville & New Orleans warehouse teams. Communicate with customers regarding the status of their project(s).

Utilize the following programs:

Smartsheet, Excel, Comsense, and Outlook. Generate installation packets for upcoming onsite visits. Communicate with lead technicians who oversee all installations, from pre-install to onsite installations. Visit job sites as needed. These visits consist of quality checks, safety audits, etc. Using information gathered from submitted sales orders, EOD (End of Day) reports, and shipping updates, compose daily maintenance schedules. Submit finalized work orders to our Accounting Department for billing purposes. Manage the maintenance team’s tool & PPE inventory. Schedule routine maintenance on assigned Himmel’s fleet vehicles. This position oversees maintenance for all LA-based projects. ‍ Preferred Familiar with Construction Industry ‍ Requirements Must be at least 18 years of age. Excellent oral & written communication skills. Proficient computer skills including Excel, Word, Outlook & Bluebeam. Excellent problem-solving skills. Ability to effectively perform in an advanced, fast-paced environment both individually as well as part of a team. Needs to be self-motivated, have a strong work ethic, positive and helpful demeanor and possess excellent customer service skills.
