The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing the flow of freight and ensuring the efficient operation of our supply chain. This position requires strong analytical skills and experience with transportation management systems to optimize transportation planning and fleet management. Duties Oversee the scheduling and coordination of freight movement to ensure timely delivery. Analyze transportation data to identify trends and areas for improvement. Utilize transportation management systems such as Oracle Transportation Management, AS400, or SyteLine for effective route planning and fleet management. Collaborate with various departments to streamline operations and enhance supply chain efficiency. Monitor compliance with safety regulations and company policies during freight operations. Communicate effectively with drivers, suppliers, and internal teams to resolve any issues that may arise during transit. Skills Proficiency in transportation management systems (TMS) including Oracle Transportation Management, AS400, or SyteLine. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data related to freight and supply chain operations. Experience in fleet management and transportation planning. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration across teams. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
