Radio Dispatcher Devcare solution 7500 Volkswagen Drive, Chattanooga, TN 37416 Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Dispatcher to join our team. The Dispatcher will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling freight deliveries, ensuring timely and efficient transportation logistics. Responsibilities Utilize AS400 system to manage freight orders Coordinate and dispatch drivers for timely deliveries Communicate with drivers and provide necessary information using phone systems Analyze supply chain data to optimize delivery routes Utilize GPS systems to track driver locations and monitor progress Maintain accurate records of dispatched orders Provide exceptional phone etiquette when communicating with drivers and clients Qualifications Previous experience in logistics or dispatching preferred Familiarity with AS400 system is a plus Knowledge of supply chain operations Ability to type efficiently and accurately Strong analytical skills to optimize delivery routes Understanding of GPS systems for tracking purposes
